APY uses youth friendly services and innovative ways in implementing HIV/AIDS prevention and Adolescent Reproductive Health training sensations.

• HIV/AIDS we use the youth to youth strategies against HIV/AIDS through the following
Abstinence: APY in its implementation of the HIV/AIDS project uses the abstinence strategy. Youth are advised and encouraged to abstain from sex till marriage age.
Be faithful: for those youth above 18 years and with partners are advised to be faithful to their and not run after the young people.
Condom: This is another preventive strategy that the youth are encouraged and advised to use. For disease control and prevention of unwanted pregnancies, condoms are encouraged and supplied to them and trained to use them correctly and consistently.
Discussion/Dialogue &Dissemination: As youth continue to discuss about HIV/AIDS and its challenges with fellow peers, they realize the dangers and the effects of HIV to them as well as their families and community. Youth either affected or infected by through their altitudes and behaviors. They also disseminate the information to the rest of their peers.
Adolescent Reproductive Health:
Young people are educated about their health, prevention from early pregnancies and Sexual diseases. Adolescent Reproduction this is done through training sessions and awareness campaigns, family planning, enhancing proper nutrition and sanitation.
